The main item, the most expensive, and the one I love the most, has to be the bike. For us, the bike had to be the 2007 ABS Sprint ST.

The moment I first saw the Sprint while flicking through a magazine, it grabbed my heart with both fists and literally tore me out of my 10 year riding hyatus!  It was a mere picture I happened to stumble across that got this all started, which is completely irrational I guess but what can ya do?
It’s hard for me to explain what came over me, but I could instantly see me on this bike travelling to distant towns and districts with a huge grin on my face, the cares of the world left in my dust, and I couldn’t shake it. With every other bike I saw, I’d smile and think to about how fantastic it would be to ride it one day, but that was it, pure window shopping. With the Sprint, I would literally spend several hours every day dreaming of touring with it, it was consuming me!
So, it was for this reason (my sanity) that we emailed all the NZ Triumph dealers we could find, to try and find someone who would not only give us a good price but that we could get along with as well. Auckland Motorcycle & Power Sports proved clear winners here, with both the price and the service they gave us. These guys are awesome and the shop in Newmarket really is such a great place that for anyone with half an interest in bikes it is really worth a visit. The guys are friendly to a fault, the stock is fantastic, and they have looked after us beyond the call of a simple bike sale.
Our Sprint is on order from the UK at the moment. The boys at AMPS have an estimate of 2-4 months for delivery, so we should be able to update this page with some real life shots and extensive riding feedback sometime around June or July. We had to get it imported because there were no black ABS models, and it simply had to be black….
I feel like a kid again, waiting to unwrap my first bmx under the tree!
